China's National Health Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, under the premise of mutual benefit, seek to promote in-depth collaboration, achieving resource sharing and improving hospital management, medical quality, and research standards.
To further advance the development of high-level key specialties in Chengdu, and construct a high-quality development framework for such specialties, GDK's medical team, in October 2022, under the coordinated arrangements of Chengdu Health Committee, introduced a high-level medical team from the University of Cambridge Hospital, UK. This team provides technical support and collaborative assistance to Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital in three areas: geriatric comorbidity management, perioperative management, pelvic floor repair, and cardiac care.
